Choosing an engagement ring is one of the most special decisions you will make. It's not just about finding a beautiful piece of jewelry, but about finding the one that represents your story and that she will want to wear every day. At The Bright Club, we make it easy for you: each of our lab-grown diamond engagement rings is designed to be as unique as the person who will wear it.
The first thing you should know is that there is no wrong choice. The important thing is to consider three things: the style she prefers, the diamond shape that best suits her, and the type of metal that best fits her daily life. Below, we explain each of these points to make your decision easier.
Engagement Ring Styles: Solitaire, Halo, Trilogy, and More
The solitaire is the most classic and timeless design: a single diamond mounted on the setting, clean and elegant. It's the perfect choice if she has a minimalist or classic style. At The Bright Club, you'll find solitaires like the Duchess Ring or the Infanta Ring, available in different diamond shapes and metals.
The halo ring surrounds the center diamond with a circle of smaller diamonds, making the stone appear larger and giving the ring a spectacular sparkle. It's ideal for those seeking a design with more presence. The Queen Ring and the Princess Ring are two of our most popular halo designs.
The trilogy features three diamonds representing the past, present, and future of the couple. It's a choice with great meaning. Our Radiant Trilogy and Cushion Trilogy rings combine different diamond cuts for a unique result.
The toi et moi design combines two diamonds of different shapes in a single ring. It's a modern and daring style that more and more couples are choosing. Our Toi et Moi Ring unites two stones that complement each other, just like you do.
Diamond Shapes: Which to Choose for Your Engagement Ring
The diamond's shape defines the ring's personality. These are the most sought-after for engagement rings:
The round diamond (round brilliant) is the most classic and the one that sparkles the most thanks to its 57 facets. It is the most popular shape for engagement rings and looks perfect in solitaires and halos.
The oval diamond visually elongates the finger and offers a sparkle similar to the round but with a more modern touch. It is one of the shapes that has grown most in popularity in recent years.
The emerald cut has step facets that create a mirror effect. It is elegant, sophisticated, and perfect for those looking for a ring with character. Our Emerald Trilogy Ring is one of the most in-demand.
The princess cut is square with sharp corners. It combines exceptional brilliance with a modern geometric shape. It is the second most popular shape after the round.
The marquise cut, the pear cut, and the cushion cut are less conventional options but with a lot of personality. Each brings a different style to the ring and allows for the creation of truly unique designs.
White, Yellow, or Rose Gold: Which Metal to Choose
All our engagement rings are made of 18-karat gold (750 thousandths), the standard in high jewelry. The choice of metal is a matter of personal style:
White gold is the most popular metal for engagement rings. Its silver tone enhances the diamond's brilliance and goes with everything. It is the most versatile and timeless option.
Yellow gold provides a warm and classic touch. It has made a strong comeback in recent years and is the perfect choice for those looking for a golden, elegant style.
Rose gold is the most romantic and modern option. Its pinkish tone gives the ring a unique and feminine character. It pairs especially well with oval and cushion-shaped diamonds.
A tip from The Bright Club: look at the jewelry she already wears. If she wears silver or steel, she probably prefers white gold. If she wears gold jewelry, yellow gold. And if she likes pink and warm tones, rose gold will be a hit.
IGI Certified Lab-Grown Diamonds for Your Engagement Ring
All the diamonds in our engagement rings are lab-grown diamonds certified by the International Gemological Institute (IGI). This means that each stone has been evaluated according to the international 4Cs: cut, color, clarity, and carat weight.
Lab-grown diamonds are chemically, physically, and optically identical to mined diamonds. The only difference is their origin: they are created using high-pressure, high-temperature (HPHT) or chemical vapor deposition (CVD) technology, reproducing the same process that occurs in nature, but in a controlled manner.
Choosing a lab-grown diamond for your engagement ring means getting a larger and higher quality diamond for the same budget, with the peace of mind that it is a certified, traceable, and conflict-free diamond. Each The Bright Club diamond is laser-engraved with its IGI certificate number, guaranteeing its authenticity.
Personalize Your Engagement Ring
At The Bright Club, you can not only choose from the different designs in our collection but also create a completely personalized engagement ring. Choose the diamond shape, the setting style, the type of metal, and the carats you prefer, and our jewelers will handcraft it in our workshop.
You can start the personalization process on our website or visit us at our showroom at Calle del Arenal 7, in the center of Madrid, where you can see the diamonds in person and receive expert advice. Always by appointment so we can dedicate the time you need.

How to choose an engagement ring?
The most important thing is to consider your partner's personal style, the diamond shape that best suits them, and their preferred metal type. Observe the jewelry they already wear to identify their preferences.
At The Bright Club, we recommend choosing the style first (solitaire, halo, trilogy, or toi et moi) and then the diamond shape. If you need help, our experts can provide personalized advice both online and at our showroom in Madrid.
What size diamond should I choose?
Diamond size is measured in carats (ct). For engagement rings, the most popular sizes are between 1.00 ct and 3.00 ct. However, the ideal size depends on budget, ring style, and finger size. A 1 ct diamond in a halo setting, for example, will appear larger than in a solitaire setting.
With lab-grown diamonds, you can access larger stones for the same budget as with mined diamonds.
What diamond shapes are there?
The main diamond shapes for engagement rings are: round brilliant, oval, emerald cut, princess cut, marquise, pear, cushion, and radiant. The round brilliant diamond is the most brilliant and popular. Oval and cushion have seen the most growth in demand in recent years.
Each shape has a different personality: the emerald cut is more elegant and understated, while the round and oval offer maximum brilliance.
Which metal should I choose for the ring?
All our rings are made of 18k gold. You can choose from three options: white gold (the most popular and versatile, it enhances the brilliance of the diamond), yellow gold (classic and warm, ideal for elegant styles), and rose gold (romantic and modern, perfect for a different touch).
The best advice is to look at the jewelry your partner already wears every day.
Can I design a custom ring?
Yes. At The Bright Club, you can design your engagement ring from scratch. Choose the diamond shape, carat, setting style, and metal type.
Our jewelers will handcraft it to the highest quality standards. You can start the process online or by visiting our showroom at Calle del Arenal 7, Madrid, by appointment.
Manufacturing time is approximately 25 business days.
Can I engrave my ring?
Yes, all our engagement rings include a first engraving free of charge.
You can personalize the inside of the ring with a date, initials, a short message, or whatever best represents you as a couple. If you would like to add or change the engraving in the future, we can also do that.
How much does a lab-grown diamond engagement ring cost?
Our lab-grown diamond engagement rings start from €1,350. The final price depends on the diamond's carats, the chosen shape, and the type of metal.
Lab-grown diamonds are up to 80% more affordable than mined diamonds of the same quality, which means that with the same budget, you can get a larger or higher quality diamond. All prices include IGI certification, case, free insured shipping, and a lifetime warranty.
Are lab-grown diamonds real diamonds?
Yes, lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds in every sense. They are chemically, physically, and optically identical to mined diamonds: same pure carbon composition, same hardness (10 on the Mohs scale), same brilliance, and same fire. The only difference is their origin.
They are IGI certified to the same standards as mined diamonds and it is impossible to distinguish them with the naked eye, even for a professional jeweler.
What is the difference between a solitaire and a halo ring?
The solitaire mounts a single diamond on the setting, with no additional stones. It's a clean, classic, and timeless design. The halo ring surrounds the center diamond with a circle of smaller diamonds, making the center stone appear larger and giving the ring more sparkle and presence.
Both styles are equally elegant: the solitaire is perfect for those who prefer simplicity, and the halo for those looking for a design with more visual impact.
Can I see the rings in person before buying?
Yes. We invite you to visit our showroom at Calle del Arenal 7, in the center of Madrid, where you can see and try on rings in person, compare diamond shapes, and receive expert and personalized advice from our team.
Visits are always by appointment so that we can dedicate all the time you need.
